Time for some spring updates!
Lucy is 2 1/2 and becoming so independent! She dresses herself head-to-toe, puts on her own diapers (partly potty-trained, and only not fully because of me), uses the potty on her own and has started picking out her own clothes. Which brings me to the "spinney dress" which has made me 100% sure we are going to be wearing uniforms when school starts. Lucy has two dresses and one skirt that spin. It used to be one or the other, but now all three have to be worn at the same time :) She also likes to sleep in them, but knows that if she doesn't she can't wear them the next day so she will even change into pjs for nap-time just to be sure they are clean for the next day. You will notice in pictures either a cheetah dress, a purple dress, a black skirt or a combo of all three for all of March.
Lucy has also started to really pretend play by herself, with her princesses and dolls. She will spend time in her bedroom alone in the mornings or after we put her down for nap we can hear her running around her room and talking to her dolls, piggy, changing her clothes, etc. Before Easter Lucy has gotten a "tattoo" at a play space and this morning she spent over an hour in her room putting fake tattoos on all of her princesses and books. I notice more playing with her friends vs. just parallel play.
She also loves to read to us at bedtime instead of having us read. It is so sweet listening to her describe the pictures, and seeing her hold the book like hear teachers do (facing out so we can all see the pictures.)
Finally, Lucy just had her 2 1/2 year dentist appt this morning and did great! She has two molars coming in this week! She let the dentist brush her teeth and also do a little flossing. I was so proud of her for sitting in the chair so long. Another reminder that she is getting so much bigger every day :)

Leigh is 4 weeks today!!! She is getting SO big! I notice it when I am holding her - how tired my arms are getting :) In the past two weeks, she has gained a lot of neck strength and is starting to use arms/hands a bit more to swat away her bottle or paci, or grasp onto my hair (maybe not intentional but she has a good grip!) She still is a crazy napper, sometimes napping what seems like all day with little breaks to eat. We are getting some sleep - usually she goes down around 11 or midnight and I will get 3-4 hours of sleep but once we wake around 3 or 4, sleep is pretty unpredictable. But, as much as I look forward to sleeping the night, I really don't mind the sleepless nights. I know they are coming soon.
We have her one month check-up next week so I will have more updates on her weight and growth after that. But, she is a great eater and her clothes seem to be shrinking, so that tells me she is growing :)
Just a few pics over the past few weeks!
