Disney Cruise!!!

Just catching up on pictures from our Disney Cruise and after the holidays, it seems like this trip was months ago, but we just got home from it two weeks ago!

We did so much, but at the same time, it feels like we didn't do much at all because we spent most of our time letting the girls decide what our plans would be, and that included as many character meet-and-greets as possible, lots of time doing activities on the ship (they have scheduled events, shows, etc all day) and lots of breaks to just play in the room or go on the deck in the sun.  Everyone got to do what they wanted - and we left with two really happy girls that somehow seemed to get older over the week.  That always seems to happen when we aren't bothered by the daily cooking, cleaning, working and distractions that takes us away from them so much at home.

For us, vacation memories seem to be less of what we saw and did, and more of the small moments with the girls that we will never be able to experience quite the same again because they will never be these exact ages on another vacation.  Their sweet voices, Leigh's barely-there words that only we can understand, both of the girls' faces when they finally got to meet the many characters we waited in line for, Lucy taking so much pride in her character autograph book and checking it immediately after pictures to see how they signed her book, Leigh going up and down the water slide, Lucy learning to play Jenga with Joe and playing Memory with Papa Bill in the lounge, the girls watching Sophia the First before bed each night together, Lucy's "awed" eyes during the theatre shows each night, the girls wearing their pjs to get breakfast in the lounge each morning, the girls racing around the boat deck, Lucy collecting seashells on the beach, Leigh's first time feeling the sand (that she remembers because Sheboygan she was too young), Leigh sitting our our deck chairs with her blankie and Minnie and our early dinners out by the pool on the deck - something you only get to do on vacation.

And, of course all the fun moments the girls had with Bill and Chris - they are so lucky (and we are to!) to have the chance to travel with Grandma and Grandpa!

So many pics but just a few of my favorite:
