We made it to month 4!

And how great are these photos?  Leigh's big milestone in month 4 has been sitting up. She is sitting up on her own, but has to lean REALLY far forward (almost folded in half) to hold herself up.  But, we are getting very close!  She is also trying to hold her own bottle - but can't quite get her hands to do it.  I am eagerly looking forward to that milestone as I often find myself trying to feed her while driving or pushing a stroller so having my hands free for those would be nice :)

I had to get a sister pic with Lucy - in what has become the new cheetah dress of the summer. "The yellow shirt."  This shirt cost about $9 at Old Navy.  Was a dress all winter, and now is a shirt that Lucy loves wearing all summer, along with pants and socks all summer.  Happy 4 months sweetest girl!

Leigh's 1st 4th

I love a holiday that falls on a Thursday - it felt like we had a "weekend" on Wednesday/Thursday and then had another one just two days later!  So, this year the 4th seemed to go on forever.  We had such a great week - spending much of it with Bill and Chris - where we moved in over the weekend.  They had to leave to AZ just to get rid of me and the girls!

On the 4th we took the girls to the parade in Des Plaines, which Lucy LOVED.  We laughed because the first float was a trolley of elderly women singing America the Beautiful and waving flags.  What else does Des Plaines have to show off in this fancy parade?  But, it was perfect - lots of fire trucks, dancers, uniforms - think the local Elks - and candy.  We spent the rest of the day in Huntley grilling out and letting Lucy play outside.  Saturday Joe left for 50 holes of golf with Rob and a group of guys, so I took the girls back to Huntley for a the weekend.  We had an amazing time at Resort Blandford!  We went to a neighborhood party, I took Lucy on a "date" to the park and for McDonald's ice cream, we played a lot and had great meals.  We were sad to leave!

It was a great 4th, despite the fact that we didn't see any fireworks as they aren't up when it gets dark out!

Muskovich Family Vacation - Wisconsin, Year 2!

Got back last weekend from our second annual trip to Sheboygan, WI.  A cute town that has everything - beach, villas, shops and cute downtown with a little brewery that I am sure we will make an annual tradition to visit.  It felt a lot like staying in our condo in Ocean City, but a little closer drive :) A few pics were stolen from Shutterfly so they didn't fully paste.  I will have to figure out how to better steal pics from other people.

Thanks mom and dad for an amazing weekend!!

The Condo

Lucy does this thing where as soon as we say "look at camera" she looks away.  I say "okay, only Leigh gets to be in it" and then she looks at camera :)

"Bumpa" and Leigh giggling

Cousins - this is their official pose

Another 3-way hug

Taking care of Leigh for me. She looks huge compared to them!!!!

Sweet Libby smiling like usual

Cracker time - Lucy's favorite time of day

Leigh's favorite part of the trip - naps with Nana

Aunt Katie with the girls

An adult-only trip to the brewery complete with a game of pool and shuffleboard

Beth found this car parked next to us.  Future plate for Lucy in 14 years?!

Can't wait to go back! Hope that this is a place the girls grow up looking forward to visiting!!!
